What followed became a gothic, slow-burning exploration of choice, memory, and the kind of love that asks to be chosen freely rather than bound by fate.
Set in the shadowed manor at the edge of Nightmoor, the story follows Kai, steady, observant, carrying more than he says, and Lucien, a presence long trapped behind a curse that was never as simple as it seemed.
This is not a story about monsters.
It is a story about restraint.

Writing DARKNESS UNSEEN taught me that atmosphere can hold as much tension as action, and that sometimes the most powerful moments are the quiet ones, hands near glass, words almost spoken, choices made when no one is forcing them.
